As part of our constant 'R&D' we have now developed 'Ear Tips' for the CamTool™ tooling on your Cambio Debarker. The Ear Tip has an extra ear shaped cutter on the of the tip also cuts when it is debarking. Thus making the bark come of in smaller pieces and not in long stringy lengths, which can clog the machine and lead to extra downtime caused by more frequent cleaning.
Other benefits of the Ear Tip include;
- no lowering of debarking quality, most customers see an improvement
- cost effective solution to stringy debarking
- between 1 and 5 tips can be changed
- simple to fit - no special tools or requirements
- easier cleaning and maintenance of the machine
*The number of tips required is different for every mill, due to local conditions - some mills one ear tip, others use more. This enables you start to off with just one Ear Tip and then add more if required, thus only buying what you need!
All mills who have had these tips fitted have stated that the end result has proved better than just with standard tips on all tooling.
