Infeed 448 is the multi-purpose log and cant infeed from Söderhamn Eriksson. This infeed is available in several versions; for short wood, for large logs, with or without its own log rotator, feeder section, etc. The 448 infeed is of a cost effective design and can be used for both logs and cants. Infeed 448 centres logs and cants more accurately than any other comparable system on the market thanks to its bogie top centring device. The 448 log rotator consists of two spiked, swivelling rollers, tilted by cylinders or linear positioners.
