The new AKE MillMaster, is the most competent band resaw on the market. It resaws accurately with centred, linear, angled, or diagonal feeding of the timber at production speeds of up to 150 m/min. I twin configuration, MillMaster has one stationary saw unit, a feedwork and one shifting saw unit. The feedwork's both sides as well as the shifting saw units are exactly positioned with hydraulic linear positioners. Combined with MillMaster's heavy Duty saw units in High Strain design, an excellent dimensional product accuracy is assured at very high production speed. The HBS is a thin kerf, high strain horizontal band resaw with almost unlimited application possibilities. It can be incorporated in a saw line for adding versatility in production patterns or be used as a separate machine centre for sawing flitches, slabs or gluelam beams. It can also be used for non-wood material applications, cutting f.ex. polymer foam, stone wool and honeycomb. Anywhere an accurate, Heavy Duty horizontal saw is needed, the HBS is the natural choice. The HBS can be offered with a variety of feeding arrangements, suiting the application. |
