During December 2008 Söderhamn Eriksson Ltd were please to take orders for 2 more PST Spiral Conveyors, this now brings the total number of PST Spirals ordered in the UK to 60. The PST spiral conveyors really are taking the timber industry by storm. Now installed in sawmills, bark plants, pellet plants and biomass sites they are proving that they can transport a wide range of materials within our industry. They are becoming increasingly popular due to their very low noise levels and maintenance costs as well reliability. |

Taylormade Timber Products Ltd Upgrade their Bandsaws - December 2008
Taylormade Timber Products of Durham has upgraded the feedwork system on their AKE Triple Bandsaw. The upgrade consisting of 2 new 7 Roller Feed boxes also include special extension arms that provide extra support for the cant as it is traveling through the bandsaws. The extension arms are equipped with rollers that fit between the the first and second group giving more control and improved accuracy. |

S.H Sommerscales place order for PST Spiral Conveyors - December 2008
Söderhamn Eriksson Ltd are pleased that S.H Somerscales of Keelby have purchased two PST Spiral conveyors to transport woodchip. The conveyors will take woodchip from the new Log Band Mill that the Hardwood Sawmiller is currently installing. The PST are ideally suited to this application. The conveyors will be installed inside a pit under the main sawline where access is restricted, which means the low maintenance levels of the conveyors will come into their own! |

James Jones & Sons Ltd Aboyne's sawmill have placed an order for a PST Spiral Conveyor to transport Bark and Woodchip to their Heating Plant. The 10m oversized conveyor will also help to air the product to improve the drying process. |

Cordiners Sawmill place order for PST Spiral Conveyor - October 2008
Cordiners Sawmills of Banchory have placed an order for a PST Spiral conveyor to transport Sawdust from their Edging Line. The conveyor will take the sawdust from directly below the edger saw box and deposit the sawdust on to the main belt conveyor. This will help with flow of the sawdust and help with the general cleaning of the mill which was becoming a problem as their production increased. |

BSW further improve their safety systems - October 2008
BSW Timber, the largest sawmiller's in the UK, have placed orders with SEL for motorized Pullet Tilting Units that are to be installed to all their AKE Bandsaws at both the Boat of Garten and Fort William sawmills. By upgrading from the old style manual handle type tilting to a pushbutton controlled system, the risk to personnel is reduced. The tilting is done via the remote control box which is placed outside the risk zone, so improving the the safety of operators, whilst the bandsaws are running. |

BSW to take delivery of 4 PST Spiral Conveyors - October 2008
BSW Timber have placed an order with Söderhamn Eriksson Ltd for PST Spiral Conveyors to replace chip and sawdust handling equipment at their Boat of Garten sawmill in Scotland. This will bring the quantity of PST's running in the UK to 56 - all of which have been supplied in the last 2 years. |

ECO Sustainable Solutions order Free Swinging Screen - July 2008
Eco Sustainable Solutions of Christchurch have place an order for the largest Bruks Free Swinging Screen in our Portfolio. This is to replace a existing Bruks screen which the company have now outgrown. They will be processing recycled material directly from a mobile shredder and depositing the material into specially made bins which the screen will be mounted on. |
